Target Groups

• TG1 (80% of positions, priority): Students enrolled, admitted or graduated from the five consortium universities.
• TG2 (20% of positions): Students from other accredited African institutions outside the consortium.

Research Areas

• Renewable energy and sustainable mobility (biogas, biohydrogen, biofuels, photovoltaics, hybrid solutions),
• Circular economy and waste valorization (waste-to-energy, bioconversion, industrial ecology)
• Urban transport and environmental health (BRT, antimicrobial resistance surveillance, resilient infrastructure)
• Climate adaptation and smart agriculture (resilient varieties, smart irrigation, climate-smart practices)

Scholarship Benefits

• Full tuition fees coverage
• Monthly allowance of 1,230 EUR for a maximum duration of 36 months,  
• Installation allowance: one-time payment upon arrival,     
• Health and civil liability insurance for the entire duration of studies

Eligibility

• Nationality and residence in an African country at the time of application
• Master's degree in science and technology, agricultural, biological, environmental sciences, engineering, renewable energies, biotechnology or related disciplines
• Academic excellence (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0, or Mention Bien 14/20)

Language proficiency:

• TOEFL iBT 80+ / IELTS 6.5+ or DELF B2
• No more than 12 months of EU-funded mobility in the last 5 years
