An intra-African academic mobility programme to support Global Gateway infrastructure.
WHAT IS GREENTECH MOBILITY?
GreenTech Mobility is an academic capacity-building project designed to strengthen excellence in higher education and research in the field of sustainable and green technologies across Africa. The project responds to the growing need for highly qualified professionals capable of supporting Africa's ecological transition.
GreenTech Mobility is an NDICI-2024-MOBAF project training 56 African experts in renewable energy, circular economy, sustainable mobility, and climate adaptation.
Funded by the European Union with €1.44 million over 4 years (2026-2029), the project brings together 6 African universities and 1 European university to develop the skills needed to implement and sustain Global Gateway infrastructure across Africa.

Transforming sustainable infrastructure investments into skilled human capital for Africa.
We create a talent pipeline specifically trained to design, operate, and maintain Global Gateway flagship projects: Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems, renewable energy infrastructure, sustainable ports, and climate-smart value chains.
